A new three-court sports hall with spectator stands was built for the Kleve district vocational college in Geldern.

The hall is located between the vocational college and the district archive and thus forms the urban and functional end of the school complex. Traffic access is via the school parking lot.

The appearance of the volume is divided into two rectangular cubes: a brick base zone and a translucent roof set back on top.

The base was built in solid construction from reinforced concrete or sand-lime brick and clad with facing brickwork. The building is divided into three main zones. The hall space forms the center of the building. It can be divided into three independently usable room sections by means of mobile partition walls attached to the ceiling.
